Marriage and family – Dr. Mully married Esther Ntheny in 1970, with whom he has seven biological children. The children grew up while MCF was in its early years of work and service to humanity. The young had the privilege of attending school with MCF beneficiaries in primary and secondary school, while the older ones joined their father in serving children in need. Today, all biological children have embraced the vision and are directly serving in different roles.

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE MULLY CHILDREN'S FAMILY (MCF)

While Charles Mully was on a business trip to Nairobi in 1986, he experienced something that changed his life. As he was getting out of the car, a group of street children approached him and he refused to give them money. This refusal stemmed from his belief that giving them money would encourage them to use illegal substances. Returning a few hours later, he saw that his car had been stolen. He was not moved by the material loss, but directed by the despair of the children; a situation he understood well from his own past. The memory of those street children stayed with Dr. Mully for the next three years. He then decided to sell his lucrative business to take care of those lost souls. His grueling past became the springboard for his extraordinary mission to transform the lives of the marginalized in society.

In 1989, responding to God's call, Dr. Mully began selling all of his real estate and businesses and dedicated the profits to helping street children through rescue, housing, medical care, psychosocial support, and education. With a mixture of compassion, forgiveness and a mission of hope, he began bringing street children into his home one by one from November 17, 1989. This was the birth of Mully's family of children. dr. Mully shared his new vocation with his family, who agreed to support him in prayer and practice. However, he faced unimaginable rejection in the first years of the foundation from close friends, business associates and even from his church because he decided to dedicate his life and resources to saving the lives of street children. Despite all the rejections, his biological family gave him solid support. Since then there have been no regrets or looking back.
